One year has passed since the downfall of Naraku, yet things have not gone as the InuTachi have predicted. In being trapped inside the Shikon Jewel along with Kagome’s soul, Naraku did not place as much faith in the young Miko wishing selfishly. Poisoned with his Miasma, the Jewel of Four souls, in its conflict, granted Naraku’s cunning wish. The small light the Kagome had left behind upon finding her way out of the Jewel, as Kikyo had done, had provided little relief for the dark cloud that has now settled on the world.
And Naraku’s wish, you ask? His true wish had not been to stay by Kikyo’s side, having a simple, base lust for the deceased priestess. The grudging souls that had been vanquished by Inuyasha and the group have been revived, stronger than ever. Naraku is no longer alive, suffering death from Kagome’s purifying arrow, though the region can feel the blanket of hate that has settled upon the land. Demons arrive in their droves, stronger and much more powerful than they once had been. Naraku had wished for the power of the Shikon Jewel to be given to all demons who sacrifice one drop of their blood in his name alone.
Perhaps the most troubling effect of the half-demon’s wish is that it has even had consequences in the future. Demons, which were once in hiding and fearing the power humans held, are no longer afraid. Every decision made affects the link between the future and the past greatly, so much so that the Sengoku Jidai now has an even more troubling danger; mankind.

04 April '10 - Alright you gaise, I think we're finally up and moving. This place has been a hellhole of activity (not like it's a bad thing, either! ;3) and we have so much new members coming in I think I may just pee myself in excitement. ... Actually, disregard that last sentence. HOWEVER. Aside from people trying out for canons, there have been no humans in the joining board. C'mon people, where's the pride for your own species? D| Youkai are now banned temporarily while humans are hugely encouraged. All youkai currently in the joining board are allowed to stay, however, and youkai canons are still accepted.

hayashi village The former home of the Priestess Kikyo, Hayashi Village is a quaint little location with a strong community spirit. Although the huts have yet to be re-made after the village's destruction, repairs are made nearly every day. Rice fields surround the village, as do fields for growing vegetables in order to support the community. The InuTachi can generally be found here, unless they're occupied with chasing away demons. inuyasha's forest. The very place where the hanyou, Inuyasha, was bound to the tree by Kikyo's arrow and released fifty years later by the schoolgirl Kagome. Spanning leagues in every way, it's a rather easy feat to get lost among its foliage. In the very center is a clearing containing the Bone Eater's Well than connects the past to the present. Through the year, the forest is filled with emerald iridescence, and it holds a magical quality that's rather hard to explain. A freshwater river cuts through it, separating the western lands from the eastern lands. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!
taijiya village Once home to the Demon Exterminator Sango, this small village is a shadow of what it once was. Settled upon a high mound and fortified by wooden poles, the dark aura around it makes the weary traveler very reluctant to enter. Contained inside are the graves of the taijiya who have been wiped out by Naraku. However, the graves sport fresh flowers from travelers who have heard of the tragedy and sympathize. forest of Bokuseno A rather dreary place in comparison to the other areas in the region, this forest is known to be home to the ago old tree, Bokuseno. He has wisdom beyond comparison and much travel here in order to enlighten themselves; though one would have to be truly patient in order to awaken him. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!

mount hakurei Mount Hakurai is known throughout the region for it's purity and divinity. No demon dares to enter this beautiful place, where flowers bloom along the road leading into the mountain's depths. An impenetrable barrier surrounds the whole mountain, wardind off demons, and what with Naraku once making a base there, humans are also reluctant to enter. At the base of the mountain, however, lies a village where the notorious Band of Seven were rumored to be buried. After their recent revival, they often wander back. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!

naraku's castle A huge building at the very north of the region, this castle was once an important base for Naraku as he recovered. The demonic barrier that surrounds it has yet to be purified, and many demons are attracted to the area for the sheer power it radiates. The building itself is dilapidated beyond compare, and yet it still stands strongly, as if by a powerful magic. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!

omodatta road Perhaps the most well-worn road in the country, Omodatta Road contains a huge crossroad that point to every major village in the region. It is nigh impossible not to meet a fellow traveler along it's dusty trails. It cuts through forests and bridges were built over rivers in order continue it's huge span. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!
the coast Both humans and demons travel to the coastlines of the region to take in the beautiful scenery. Small, self-reliant fishing villages are dotted around the coasts, who welcome weary travelers with open arms. Many simply climb the high cliffs that overlook the seas to think about all their troubles in life. However; there are also dangers that lie waiting. The quantity of human establishments attract demons from the mainlands to make their nests; though even they are unwilling because of the caves that harbor bat demons. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!
mountainous areas What with the region being alpine, there are many other smaller, less-known mountains that one can still travel to. The highest are capped with snow that never melts, while the smallest would take a few hours from one's time in order to reach the peak. However, these areas are very dangerous, and are even rumored to be the place of death of the dragon, Ryuukotsusei. Moderator: JUNIPER ?!
