The day was good with warm temperature and nice weather replacing the chilling cold that Winter had brought. Afternoon was starting to approach and the sky's baby blue coloring started to turn a darker shade as the sun changed it's position. The coast was a great place to relax with the sound and scent of salty water that could lull anyone into sleep as easily as a lullaby. It seemed vacant of any other living creatures instead of a young cat-demon who took the chance to lay stretched out in the grass. The youkai was at the moment in a smaller and harmless form which looked similar to a kitten. The small creature lay curled up in the shade of a tall tree with it's newly sprouted leaves waving back and forth with the wind.
Ears twitching in response to the breeze Bellen's eyes blinked open and he opened his small mouth wide to give out a yawn. Resting his head back on the grass he lay awake for a few minutes, and as he did that he thought of what he would do once night came. Being a demon who was more mobile in the night then in the midst of the day he usually slept at this time. It was usually rare to find him out from hiding at this time and even rarer to see him at night due to his elusive style of traveling. But now that he found out he couldn't force himself back into unconsciousness the cat-demon decided to move a bit. Arranging his body until it was in a sitting position he started to groom himself.
Licking his paw he swiped it over his face and then started to lick his chest fur before he got distracted by the view of the ocean and beach. Bellen tilted his head and gave a tiny mew before approaching the sandy scene. The sand was pretty warm and it felt hot and uncomfortable to his small dainty feet but he endured it. The tide came in and out and soon he became distracted with the constant movement of water. He soon sat and continued to watch unaware that something was coming up from behind him. He gave a high pitched screech as something clamped down on one of his tails and turned to identify what had grabbed the limb. A large crab's pincher's were holding onto it stubbornly.
Hissing at it Bellen bared his teeth and tried to nip at it only to have his nose pinched painfully and the demon soon found himself running in circles as he attempted shake off it's hold.
"Nyeeee!"

`Eichi,* I will assure you I know how to handle my Sake!
The crunches of the sand slid in between her toes at each step she takes. The warmth of the sand blazing up a haze before the stray woman. Her squinted blood eyes trying to make way of where she is going. She lifts a hand up to her forehead to block the sun that dare to blind her, and the other hand holding a bottle of some sort of liquid. Her red kimono hiked up above her knees to allow an easy movement.
Stopping abruptly she turns a few times looking at the ocean then at the blazing sand, then up the coast. Her lips moving as she forms soundless words with her eye brows scrunched together.
Where the hell is she?
Sneering up at the sun, she plops herself onto the ground. Her right hand hesitant to discard the bottle of what smells like sake to her. After all, who in their right mind would waste good sake? Sitting there for a few seconds as she starts to remember what she was doing before she found herself on the Coast line, she looks down at the sake before looking back at the ocean.
A smile forms on the woman's lips as she recalls the men, the large amounts of sake she drank, and the fun she had. Oh yes. Her favorite past times: men, sake, and fun. Though she was still confused on how she got here.
Shrugging her shoulders, she gets up with a wobble before she starts to continue her trek on the beach. The salty air was starting to clear her mind, and she could use a few more seconds before she heads off somewhere once more.
"Nyeeee!"
She stops with a lurch as she looks at the animal running around in circles with a crab attached to it's tail. Smiling and giggling to herself, most likely remains of the sake, she walks towards the two as she plucks the cat from the ground. Holding the cat in the air she pulls the crab off of it, before it pinches her hand.
"Ahg! Damn crab. DIE!" She says as she drops both the crab and cat. Glaring down at the crab, she snaps her finger as the crab just all of a sudden splits in half. The tremble of the shadow around the crab soon settles, as she 'tch' and plops once more on the ground. Her sake long forgotten, she attends to her wound.
"Stupid crab."
"I'm hungry now." She says to herself mostly, before her eyes, gleaming with mischief, find their way towards Bellen. The look of hunger on her face, and the smile that told many things."I've never had cat before...tee hee~<3"

SO MUCH BETTER OFF THIS WAY*
The sky was clear and blue without a cloud in sight, and you know what that means? Time to break out your umbrella! The childish Youkai marched along the beach in her large boots, kicking up the golden grains, her orange umbrella perched over her head. Risu twisted it around in her palm, looking here and there for some entertainment.
There were the couple of fishermen, but none of them really screamed out, "Piss me off." Aggravated, the demon continued on down the beach, waiting for the opportune moment. Her yellow eyes traced the treeline, and her attentive ears enclosed on the waves pushing themselves helplessly up and down the coast. What a crappy life, repeating yourself over and over again. It must be the shit to have a tsunami, huh?
Risu covered her fangs while she yawned, the corners of her eyes tearing up leisurely. Finally. Peeking through her fingers, the demon spied the right guy to mess with. She smirked, and was on her way. The fisherman sat with a bottle of sake, whining and complaining and cursing the sea for his love life going down the drain. He wiped his face of sweat, and angrily curled his bruised knuckles around the pathetic fishing pole. Risu, with her rather unmatchable speed, disappeared, sand spreading away from where her body once was. With the wind quickly rushing through her spiky hair, the girl jumped over the fishing line, snipped it, and landed yards and yards away from the man.
He didn't even notice she had been there. Looking over her shoulder, she saw him yell angrily, and throw the fishing pole into the sea. Risu giggled happily.
She swung her arm, still spinning her umbrella in the other, pleased by her accomplishment for the day. Her sharp eyes stared down the beach, and the breeze carried a distinctive demon scent. "Oh, how fortunate for little ol' me!" She cried out, and took off down the beach.
Reaching the two, she landed on a tree branch, and closed her umbrella. Peering down at the duo, she realized one was an older woman, pissed by the looks of it, and the other a little feline. Risu wrinkled her nose, no men to flirt with? Oh well, maybe she could still have some fun with these dunces.
The Youkai hooked the umbrella's end on the branch, and slid down its tip. Placing her foot on it, and holding on with one hand, she placed a fist on her hip. Her nose caught the crab. Raising her eyebrows, Risu slid off of the umbrella, and took it off the branch, then leaned on it like a cane, her foot crossed behind the other and her hands folded formally on top of one another. "Whatda we have here?"

Finding himself lifted from the ground by a pair of hands Bellen shut his eyes tightly as he felt the crab starting to be yanked off.
"Ahg! Damn crab. DIE!"
The hold released he fell straight to the loose earth and landed on his back with the crab's grip suddenly gone and his tail feeling slightly sore. Whimpering as he sat on his haunches he noticed that his back hurt as well and was a little thankful that the sand offered a soft landing. Opening his eyes now he first saw the crab now spit in two with the flesh inside revealed and unprotected. Drool started to flood his mouth as he thought of it now as food instead of a pest. Bellen then identified two small feet and a long pair of legs.
"Mew?"
He saw the figure of a women and lowered himself to the ground in response to her tall and menacing presence. He thought females were little more scarier then men due to them being a little more clever and intelligent then the opposite sex and he tried avoided them all together. Cursing himself for his luck he perked his ears when she spoke.
"I'm hungry now..."
A pause.
"I've never had cat before...tee hee~<3"
Never had? Bellen blinked in confusion before he realized what she meant. Oh shit, she is going to eat me!
He ached to turn tail and run but he was froze when he met those red eyes which were similar to his own. Getting up a little as curiosity took effect Bellen approached the women step by step. She did help him with the crab maybe he should show a little bit of thanks, get to her softer side. Giving a purr he rubbed himself against her leg like a pet cat would to it's owner. Hoping to put her mind off of eating he glanced around once for any routes of escape but to his dismay he spotted something else that was near, something looking down at them Hiding behind the red-haired women he gave another mew and crouched a bit.
"Whatda we have here?"
The cat demon hissed in response to the voice but he didn't speak. He simply looked up at the strange girl and couldn't help feel a little bit cautious, he was silently screaming at himself to run but was still unsure how they would react to him trying to flee.

Well we have enough people. Let's party~!
A smile spreads on Eichi's face at the sight of the cat. She was kidding after all, she would never eat a cat. Though she does love food, there's a limit to what she would eat, but just the uneasiness between her and the cat soon melted. As the cat started to mew and rub on her; it truly was amusing. Looks like the cat was starting to kiss up on making her not eat the cat.
"How cute~ I wonder if you'll taste good with dango~" Eichi coos as she winks at the cat. Her tongue licking her red lips and just the thought of Dango was starting to actually make the Youkai hungry.
Suddenly the feeling of someone calling her old causes signals to shoot up her spine. Frowning at the feeling, she's soon surprised by the cat. The cat having moved to the other side of her, looking somewhere near the trees. Looking up with a smile she see a little girl in the tree. A little girl with a yellow umbrella on a sunny day. Quite the characters. A character that wouldn't hesitate to call Eichi old?
"Whatda we have here?"
Eichi laughs at the hissing sound coming from the cat. Obviously he thought that little girl as a threat, but not Eichi. No, she's a fearless Youkai that's a well breed of high class. She doesn't need to cower in fear of a little girl that's no taller than her. Oh but she is hungry though.
"Oh hello! Have you come to join our little party?"Eichi says, having remembered her sake bottle as she tips it towards the Youkai. Looking down at the cat she smiles with a dangerous hint behind it. "I'm thinking something made from cat would be tasty."
A giggle comes from the woman as she leans back from her sitting position before getting up on her feet. Her movements seeming to be a little drunk, but she would assure you that she was far from drunk. Waving her sake bottle around, she walks towards the trees as she starts to pick up sticks.
"Needs sticks to make a fire~"

SO MUCH BETTER OFF THIS WAY*
The little cat demon purred and cooed, rubbing its fluffy little neck all over the red head's legs. What an interesting way to get to know one another. Which caused a thought to pop into the young woman's head. She stared off into space, like she usually did when she was zoning out. A grown man, dressed in a beautiful gown, getting down on all fours and rubbing his thick hair on this woman's leg, and she found it pleasurable. Risu cringed, she never would understand the mature functions of men and woman.
She nearly slipped off her umbrella, but caught herself, and stood up straight, putting her hands behind her back, and hooking the umbrella around her small shoulder. The demon scratched the back of her head nonchalantly, until she heard the little feline hiss. What a pest. She took the umbrella in her hand and poked it inches away from the cat's face. "You, you stop that." She pouted, wrinkling her nose.
Risu didn't shift her eyes to the woman when she spoke. A party? This didn't look like a party. It looked like a drunken maiden mistaking a cat demon for dinner and a crazed girl carrying around an umbrella were making small conversation.
The woman tipped her sake bottle towards Risu. Slightly appalled, her eyes widened for a second, then returned to their normal sly look. The Youkai once again leaned on her umbrella, and placed a fist on her hip. "What kind of person are you? Can't you tell I'm underage? Honestly, it's like her have no brains at all." She was going to mention eating the cat too, but decided to leave that out. Her golden demon eyes trailed back to the little feline, it looked panicked, how funny. Shouldn't things like this have more backbone? This group may have not been entertaining, but it surely was funny to look at.
Risu leaned back onto the tree truck, and balanced the umbrella's tip on her index finger, attempting to find something to keep her busy. Not giving eye contact to either of these demons, Risu continued her childish chastisement. "Besides, heavy drinking isn't attractive." The demon gestured she was sipping sake out of an imaginary bottle, and crossed her eyes. With a smirk, Risu held her stomach, catching herself from laughing too hard. Well what do you know? This was more entertaining than she thought.

Bellen started to emit a growl at the new demon as he backed away. But the red-haired demon greeted her with a cheerful tone added to her voice.
"Oh hello! Have you come to join our little party?"
Party? Bellen tilted his head and his growl died away.
"I'm thinking something made from cat would be tasty."
The cat demon jumped at that quote and then quickly calmed and frowned. Maybe it was just food she was just looking for. Glancing down at the crab carcass he licked his lips and decided to maybe exchange food for a safe passage out of here. But where would he get it? While the two females talked Bellen wandered back toward sea and looked into the shallow depths. Focusing he saw tiny fishes, shells and stones that had collected there. He hated getting wet but he couldn't resist the thought of enjoying a bit of seafood. Taking a step in he found himself sliding back with the force of the tide and gritted his teeth in annoyance. Eyes suddenly narrowing a bit of brown dust exited his mouth and covered his entire body.
The ability of transformation was useful for a small creature as such himself, and while changing his body went through a few improvements. If you could see under the dark smog you would identify the that he was changing in size at first. He became a little more muscular and from his mouth emerged two sabers. Cloud now disappearing he revealed himself as something that looked more like a demon. Powerful limbs and body started to maneuver threw the water easily. Eyes sharp he identified different species of sea life and avoided anything that could cause harm. Bellen had no idea how the demons would react or notice his new form and seemingly didn't care due to him acting more then casual as he focused on finding a meal.
A old and slow tuna was swimming about and looked confused, it must have wandered to far from the deeper parts of the sea and went toward the shallows and away from it's group. The fish's species did prefer warm water and it was rare to see one here. Bellen took advantage of this and stood stock still as he pinned his gaze on it. He lunged and the fish ended up being punctured by his two canines and found itself flopping in the air. A grin forming on his muzzle he sloshed threw the water and dropped it on the sand. Smoke exited out of his mouth once again he returned to his original form.
"Mew!"
Turning toward the large fish Bellen grabbed the fin and pulled so he could drag it toward the red-eyed female. But he was having a it of difficulty with his strength now gone.
Pull!
"Nyeeeee!"
Again!
"Nyeeeeeeee!"
Third times the charm!
"Neeeeeeee!" He fell back on his back and struggled to roll onto his stomach and regain footing.

Oh I do love fish~<3
Having gathered her sticks, Eichi walks over to an area near the beach. Noticing that the cat is not with her, the Youkai drops the sticks as she looks around the area. Looking for a bit she finds a large cat near the water, most definitely the cat from before. Placing her hand son her hips she watches the Youkai with mild amusement at what the cat is doing. "What kind of person are you? Can't you tell I'm underage? Honestly, it's like her have no brains at all." The demoness giggles at the child Youkai, looking over her shoulder to answer the girl. "I'm just an unemployed necromancer for hire, though I wasn't going to share my sake if that's what you're thinking." Eichi says with a snicker as she returns to watching the cat. Yawning she stretches her arms with one eyes open. "I'm not one to share really."Looking to the side towards Rika, Eichi turns around to look at the girl with a smirk. "Besides, heavy drinking isn't attractive." Eichi watches as the girl does a motion of drinking an imaginary sake with her eyes crossing at the end. It amuses Eichi by her antics, she isn't one to get offended much by things like that, but what really got her was the 'isn't attractive' part. Closing her eyes and smiling widely, she opens her eyes once more to wink at the girl before turning around while stretching once more. Her arms coming down to cross underneath her breasts. "Neither is a bratty child antics pleasing~" Eichi teases back, her eyes widening at the sight of the fish the cat is trying to pull. Turning that shock into a smile, she walks forward as the cat tumbles to it's back. Kneeling down next to the cat, she winks at the cat and blows a kiss towards it. "What a wonderful kitty~" Eichi says with a palm resting against her cheek and her hand waving at the cat. Happiness on the woman's face. "Far more useful that a rude child~" Words:: 336 Comments:: Hur hur~ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

SO MUCH BETTER OFF THIS WAY*
That little ball of fur growled at Risu. Annoyed, her yellow demon eyes trailed off to meet its', but when the woman began to speak, it seemed calm. Was this beast tamed? Strange, it was acting more friendly to that old hag then her, oh well.
The beast too, seemed thoughtful of the idea that this little gathering would be qualified as a party. Offended that the red big-head would still offer up a cat as a dish, it pounced off towards the sea. What it was doing wasn't quiet clear but, Risu payed attention to the woman and her remarks for the moment. Unemployed? The young demon sighed with a smirk, like she had to worry about getting a job. What kind of demon wanted a job anyway? Peering out of the corner of her eye, Risu thought, the kind that wanted sake every minute of every day. Like she wanted any sake, she tried it, easily got drunk, and was blessed with a wonderful headache the next day. That stuff was nasty shit.
Risu looked at the scattered sticks that the woman had found. Was she planning on making a fire? Well, wouldn't that be impressive. Her next statement seemed to bring more attention to her from the elderly demon. The look on her face was quiet creepy, no matter how happy she tried to make herself look. Risu put her eyes back on the feline, who seemed to be doing a good job on catching his way out of this meeting.
"Neither is a bratty child antics pleasing~"
"Oh ow, that one really struck a chord." Risu rolled her eyes. Of course, the drunkard stalked off towards the cat. "At least I don't have to worry about dying alone, after all, I'm the young one." She crossed her arms, hugging the umbrella, and looked up into the tree without much intent.
She approached the new and improved demon, and blew a kiss. "Has she stooped so low as to hit on a different species?" Risu muttered. She didn't care if the other heard her or not, it was just too good of a sentence to waste in her head. Those two really seemed to be getting along, not that it really hurt Risu's feelings. Being alone was second nature, at least she was pissing one off. The cat amused her a bit more, it didn't seem like it would stick around for much long anyway, it was mostly driven by fear of being eaten. Risu scratched her forehead where her tattoos were, and turned to make her way over to the sticks. Even she wouldn't pass up a free meal, and meat was her favorite dish.
Leaning on her umbrella, she pondered, "So, how're we gonna cook this thing?"

After righting himself into a standing position Bellen tilted his head at the women when she gave him thanks and his tails intertwined as he felt the slightest bit good for being useful. He then decided to looked over his catch and sniffed at it all over. He had to shut his mouth tightly to keeping from allowing a bit of dribble to run out. Unsheathing his claws he climbed a top of it and sat.
"So, how're we gonna cook this thing?"
He looked at the girl and opened his mouth and let out a chuckle. It was the first human sound he gave in the presence of the two but decided to keep his mouth shut.
"Mew!" He jumped off the dead fish and looked around for anything to start a fire with.
Closing his eyes he considered three ways of cooking it. First; cook it the transitional way over a fire at placing it on sticks. Second; Heat up a few stones wrap the meat in leaves and allow it to bake under warm sand with the rocks. Third; Get some slate and put it over the fire, allow it to warm up and then place meat on it. Or they just could eat it raw, demons were capable of ingesting a lot of more things then humans regularly could. Passing by the two Bellen decided to take a whiff of the younger-looking demon's scent before he walked forward. There had to be something to start a fire with, the girl who raised him always had two stones she used to create sparks. Dry wood was also important too.
Raising his gaze he saw as the sky started to turn a orange pastel and knew night was approaching. The sound of crickets chirping soon began and Bellen instantly thought of acquiring a snack before he picked up any material to feed a fire. Disappearing in a line of shrubs beyond the tree he followed the sound the loud insect was creating and trotted threw the grass. He, in the middle of his search, happened upon scattered sticks and tried to collect a few as he considered the idea of taking them back. They weighed him down though and he found himself stumbling and/or tilting forward. Giving up he picked up a single one and trotted back to the two females to show them the single stick he retrieved. Sitting down in front the red-haired women he put it down and meowed up to her with a proud expression. Though there wasn't much to be proud of.

Hmmm...raw or cooked?
The mask of happiness cracked from the woman's face for a brief second before it was placed back on. She isn't going to let some little thing ruin her day, and damnit she's going to eat that fish in pleasure!
Picking up a piece of her kimono, she sticks her tongue out at the state of it. With cuts and dirt sprinkled on it, she decides to change her attire to something more appealing. With the shadows forming around her body, in a quick second her less appealing kimono is replaced with something more appealing. Acquired with black shoes and a red dress, she smooths it down before looking over at the young Youkai.
"So, how're we gonna cook this thing?"
Being about to open her mouth and say something, she hears a humanish sound come from the Neko Youkai. Smiling and giggling with the cat, she watches with a haunting look in her eyes as the cat disappears behind the bushes.
"Well then. To make a fire..hhmmmmm.." Eichi says to herself, a finger placed on her lips in thought with her eyes roaming the sky. The orange stardust kissing the sky as the sun slowly hides away to sleep. Standing there in thought, she turns to look at Risu.
"You wouldn't happen to know how to make fire, would you?" She asks before shaking her head and dismissing the thought. "Ah, never mind. You would not have asked the question if you could."
Hearing the bushes behind her rustle, she turns her attention to find the Neko rushing forward to stop in front of the two girls. In his mouth was a single stick that he proudly laid down before them. Which only caused the demoness to sigh and turn her back from the two. She was quite hungry, and despite the cuteness, the Neko wasn't much of help in making a fire.
"Such incompetent Youkai. The sadness makes me hungry." Eichi says dully, her hand cradling her stomach. It had been a month since the last time she had eaten fully. No, not even Sake can quell the hunger. Actually, where is her Sake?
Comments: Finally did it. D:
