Ancient Greece, watched over by the Twelve Olympians, Demigods walking the streets of the country, Heroes destroying fabulous beasts. It had to fall one day, and it did. Perhaps the people just stopped believing. Perhaps the Gods were never real at all. Truth faded to legend, Legend faded to myth. And these myths became fireside stories for children for many years to come.
Fast forward over two thousand years to the modern era, and something odd has happened. A rise in natural disasters caused no suspicion for many, until it was discovered that these disasters were not natural at all – they were being caused by a new race, a new breed – people the world over were being randomly assigned a power field, and had no knowledge or means of controlling these powers. The results were devastating tsunamis, earth-shaking quakes, exploding volcanoes and sweeping hurricanes. A fork of lightning hit the horizon of the Atlantic ocean and a tremendous tidal wave, forming a stampede of wild horses in the surf, raced across one Greek Island.
The Gods were back. There was no denying their presence now, no chance not to believe. They took to the earth in human form, though with their shape-shifting abilities, and set about their task. Zeus had decided it was time they took a stand – and trained these fortunate mortals how to use their powers for a higher purpose, and without accident.
Aided by his brother Poseidon and a handful of other Gods and Goddesses, Zeus founded the school that stands there today, on its first legs. Hades remains in the underworld, forever guarding the dead souls, biding his time...
So now it’s up to you. With a brand new site with 13 Gods and Goddesses available, plus unlimited original characters with different powers, you now decide the fate of Olympus High.
